Every plan is a flat monthly fee. There is no per-message charge, no
per-connection overage charge, and no separate charge for large event payloads.

### How is the Pusher cost estimate calculated?

The calculator maps your concurrent connections and monthly messages onto published Pusher Channels tier pricing, converting daily message allowances to monthly, then maps the same usage onto the smallest Soketify plan that covers it. Pusher figures are estimates from public pricing; Soketify figures are the exact list prices.

### Why does the estimate change when I raise the payload size?

Pusher's default maximum event size is 10 KB. Above that you need its Large Messages add-on, which costs extra, and above 256 KB per message Pusher does not deliver the event at any price. Soketify includes 100 KB on Free and up to 4 MB on Scale-2 at no extra charge, so the Soketify column does not move.

### Is the calculator biased toward Soketify?

The inputs are yours and both columns come from published list prices, so you can check them against pusher.com/channels/pricing and soketify.com/pricing. Where Pusher requires a sales call the calculator shows Contact rather than inventing a number, which is the case where the comparison is genuinely unknown.
